“I was born and raised in a foggy town in northern Italy, taking part in the provincial underground culture.
After my master’s degree in accessories design, I shifted my interest towards digital fashion as I see it as one of the essential tools that will help fixing the industry problem with waste. Of course it’s not a silver bullet, we need a radical and widespread change of mentality towards transparency and fair practice.
I now live in Melbourne, work as a freelancer and teach at RMIT.
Sometimes I like to go back to my sewing machine to create accessories out of discarded materials.”
