Ponz (she/her)
3D Fashion Specialist and Accessories Designer
I was born and raised in a foggy town in northern Italy, taking part in the provincial underground culture. After graduating from Politecnico di Milano and a short experience in a leather goods sample room, I worked in a corporate fashion environment in Switzerland which gave me a strong 3D background and knowledge about digital prototyping and sampling.
I then started my freelance career in Melbourne in Jan 2019, working with international brands and studios, guiding them into integrating digital tools in their practice and building a consistent workflow.
I'm experienced in managing teams for digital production of assets for virtual sampling purposes and creative campaigns, as well as taking part in projects as a hands-on team member.
I teach Digital Techniques in the School of Fashion and Textiles, Sustainable Innovation course, RMIT, Melbourne/Naarm.
Member of digi.gxl collective since March 2019, volunteer admin since 2021.
Sometimes I like to go back to my sewing machine to create accessories out of discarded materials.
